 The Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India has assigned the responsibility of conducting the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Delhi. The CBSE will be organized the CTET 2016 on 18th September 2016 for 10th Edition.  Eligibly Candidates can fill the CTET 2016 Application Form on the official website. Candidates who want to make career in teaching line then they can fill the application form. Candidates are inviting to filling application form for various post of teacher for classes 1st to 8th.  The CTET shall apply to school of the Central Government (KVS, NVS etc.) the administrative control of UT’s of Chandigarh, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu and Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep and NCT of Delhi.

CBSE CTET Notification 2016

The Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi will be conducting the 10th Edition of Central Teacher Eligibility Test. Candidates can apply online for CTET-SEPT 2016 on CTET website.

CBSE CTET Application Form 2016

Candidates can apply Online Application Form by the CTET site. Candidates should fill all details during the filling Online Form and upload all required documents.

  • Firstly, go on to the CTET site.
  • Click on the Apply Online option.
  • Fill the online application form with all require information.
  • Candidates upload scanned passport size photograph and signature.
  • Candidates pay the fee through Debit/ Credit or download Challan.
  • Click on the submit button.
  • Now get a print out of the confirmation page.

CBSE CTET Examination Schedule 2016

  • CBSE conduct the CTET Examination in month of September 2016. CBSE will be two papers of CTET.
  • Paper I will be for a person who purpose to be a teacher for class 1st to 5th.
  • Paper II will be for candidates who purpose to be a teacher for class 6th to 8th.
  • If candidates who intends to be a teacher for both classes will have to appear in both papers.
  • Paper I will be conduct on 18th September 2016 at 2 p.m to 4:30 p.m.
  • Paper II will be conduct on 18th September 2016 at 9:30 a.m to 12 a.m.

The papers will be objective type having multiple choice questions. The paper I have five subjects as Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I (compulsory), Language II (compulsory), Mathematics and Environmental Studies. Paper I is the primary stage exam for classes 1st to 5th.

                Paper II also contain five subject in the examination as Child Development and Pedagogy (compulsory), Language I (compulsory), Language II (compulsory), Mathematics and Science and Social Science and this paper is the elementary stage for classes 6th to 8th.

Eligibility Criteria

 Minimum Eligibility for Primary Stage:

  •  The candidates who are applying for classes 1st to 5th teacher must have passed senior secondary with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2 years diploma in Elementary Education.
  •  Senior Secondary with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing final year of 2 years diploma in Elementary Education according to the NCTE.
  • Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4 year B.El.Ed.
  • Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2 year diploma in special education.

Minimum Eligibility for Elementary Stage:

  • Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing 1 year Bachelor in Education.
  • Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year B.Ed in according with the NCTE
  • Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year B.A/ B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/ B.Sc.Ed.

Fee Structure

  •  For General and OBC category: Paper I and Paper II Rs. 600/- and Both Papers Rs. 1000/-
  • For SC/ ST/ Differently Able Person: Paper I and Paper II Rs. 300/- and Both Papers Rs. 500/-
